Lent is about personal sacrifice and self-reflection during the Easter season rather than self-punishment/constraint or a method to quit a vice. It's perfectly okay to 'go back' to whatever you were doing beforehand. BUT... most people have intentions to continue the behavior (or continue not doing the behavior) afterwards because it benefits their life in a positive way.ToplessRideFL wrote:Not bein Catholic.....my question is.... when Lent is over do you go back to the things you gave up?
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

One of the perks of my religion. Shoot, you can even give up things for a 5 minute time period. kidding....
When I was a Baptist, you weren't supposed to drink or dance.
So I went Presbyterian and I never looked back.
