Part 3 - Bathroom Etiquette -Cel Phones in the Bathroom

One question. Why?

I hide in the bathroom from time to time just because it is the ONLY place I can have some semblance of peace for a couple of minutes.

The LAST thing I want is a) someone talking to me in general in the bathroom, and b) taking the stall next to me and talking on the cel phone.

I mean really, that is just ridiculous. For crying out loud, I know the thing is crazy glued to their ear to begin with, but there just comes a fine line where it needs to be hung the hell up.

and if you couldn't tell, I'm pretty damned cranky today.

At the last phlocking, I had mine in my pocket when I went to the bathroom. There was one other person in a stall next to me. While we are both in the process, for lack of a better term, my phone starts ringing. I had no idea how to silence it since no one ever calls it! When it finally stopped, I heard her giggling. At least someone found it funny. I was ten shades of red.

But that is like twice a year.. after (or before) my business I will stand by the sinks..


BTW I answer the phone for a living you would not believe tha people

Actually, answering the phone in the bathroom quickly and getting off does not bother me. There are times you simply need to answer it.

It's the people who are on an idle chitchat conversation that wander into the bathroom still on the phone and have no inclination to either put the person on hold or hang up.
