Ok so here is the deal:

My producer told me last night at weei that tomorrow we are doing a Planet Mikey idol. So I have to record a karake song along with the people who work on the show and the song will be played on air and online then voted on by the listeners. The loser from each round must sing a song live on air. So I need a couple of favors from you all:

1) Help picking a song to sing. Whether Buffett or not I want something funny and EASY to sing.

2) Votes! When we have the voting Ill let you know and you will all have to vote online and call in.

3) Don't laugh at how bad I sing.

Thanks!!!

If you really can't sing and just want something funny-- my friend did "My Ding-a-Ling" one night, and it was hilarious!

I hate Karaoke, but I have a couple suggestions for you.

First, there is a Karaoke CD of Buffett songs. You could bring that cause you'd already know all the words.

Second, when at a Buffett show, I've always though Southern Cross would be a good Karaoke song because EVERYONE knows the words and you can't help but get into the song and help out the person on stage. Especially the chorus.

Also, Margaritaville, although I would guess it's overused by most Karaoke bars, it is indeed a great song to sing while you play it up and sing like you're totally drunk and again get the audience involved. Great way to cover up your own voice and shyness.

I've always been fond of WDWGDAS, maybe not too appropriate for the air.

I've spent a lot of time in Japan, and the one theme that never fails over there, is pretty much any Elvis song....Love me tender, Hound dog, Jailhouse Rock, they're easy to sing, everyone knows them, and kinda fun!

Thank you... Thank you very much!

Afternoon Delight is easy and a good song to do.
Stories We Could Tell
Brown Eyed Girl
Covers may be better.
Don't try Jolly Mon and Whooooo-oooo-ooo part.
