Volcano Express

Post by jsteele2 »

I will be in Chicago for the summer, and plan on taking the Volcano express, but I saw the Chicago pick ups were TBA. Have they had Chicago pick ups in the past, and if so, are they round trip that night?

As far as I know, they have not left from Chicago before...however, they are expanding and if there is a big enough response, they will be leaving out of Chicago...Contact Rob and ask him..he might already know if there are enough people to get a bus going from Chicago...(yes, it would be round trip)

Hey there,
Matt Wahl is from Eau Claire, Wi. and the picture of the two of you, does look a LOT like Matt. That's why he asked.
PHINHEAD and I had the great pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Matt. He does play CIP quite often, and is a member of the Chippewa PHC. If you ever get a chance to see and hear him, go do it. He's awesome and PHUN!!

regular pavillion are seats between rows NN-CCC
Upgrade is rows AA-MM
Parrot Envy are 13th row through 27th row
Feeding Frenzy are 1st row to 12th row

If Volcano Express is unable to acquire these tickets, be ready for a possible downgrade package, which you will then be reimbursed for accordingly.

Ok...I was wrong. But if you have the chance do check him out. He is a lot of phun. He has his own material that is very good, but also does some good Buffett. He loves it when the Parrotheads show up, and make themselves known. He did Fins and told the crowd to follow our lead. It was great. I have some pics of that night, but I can't figure out how to attach them to my post.

That is something I would need to know when buying it off him. My ticket location, because If I can not make it, I wanna be able to tell the person who I am selling it to where it is.

I know you told me to try and get a hotel in Janesville, I am working on it - but do they pick up in New Berlin (Milwaulkee sp??) - my brother from Madison wants to come with us and is flying in to Milwaulkee (again sp?).

Your brother is from Madison, Wisconsin???? and flying into Milwaukee??? I am confused... Madison and Milwaukee are about an hour away...

There is definitely a bus pickup in Madison.... Possibly one in Milwaukee depending on the CIP opening and the response..

:D :D that is okay...I will help you!!!

Here is the deal....there is a fairmont inn in middleton, Wisconsin...that is right next door to Cheeseburger in Paradise where the Madison bus leaves from...it is about 1/2 hour from the airport or so...there really isn't any hotels near the airport that I know of....

If you stay in Madison, you can take the bus to Janesville and join all of us then head to Alpine...if you want the limo bus still, you may have to ride a regular charter bus from Madison to Janesville, then get on the limo bus from Janesville to Alpine, unless of course you have enough people to fill the limo bus in Madison..this is what I am thinking may work.....again, confirm with Rob....
