This is sad, if true. BBC says ground-based telescopes will be worthless by 2050 because of the amount of airplane contrails in the atmosphere. There's a picture from 11 years ago over Europe which is unbelievable.
I must live in the middle of the Chicago-Detroit flight corridor, because I can't look up without seeing 3 or 4 trails all the time.
I gotta sail to St. Somewhere?
