He has opened up with Great Heart on 2 different tours. I would like to see him open with one of these...
1. Landfall
2. Bank Of Bad Habits
3. Off To See The Lizard
4. Quietly Making Noise
5. Livingston Saturday Night
6. Blue Guitar
I think any of these would be a great opener for the show.

Bring me the hot sauce, bring me a beer. Going to be the last man standing, but where do you go from here?

On the off chance that anyone in authority is paying attention I'll vote for Lage Nom Ai. Although I love the opening of Feeding Frenzy also - You'll Never Work in This Bidness Again. And quite frankly as long as I'm there to see it live I don't much care! But it's fun to think about.

Another vote for Great Heart!!! Good song to open with along with Fruitcakes! However, Migration would be good to.
I would love to see him do School Boy Heart once.

That would be perfect for a final encore.......the opener has to energize the crowd; something upbeat and rockin'! Lage Nom Ai, Fruitcakes, or Greatheart would get 'er done, but I'd like to hear a new one.......likeregalis wrote:has anyone mentioned False Echoes? Now thats a great song!

We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

I would LOVE for it to be Nautical Wheelers! And just the way he did it in the early days...on a stool with just his guitar!
Gonna dance til I fall!

Yeah, it'd be about time... Considering that on the Salty Piece of Land Tour, he did not play A Salty Piece of Land once... As for me, I'd like to hear something totally random as an opener, like Uncle John's Band or Lucky Stars... And I think I'd need a new pair of undies too if he did Landfall. I'd love it if he threw some Floridays and Beach House on the Moon songs somewhere into the mix this year too... We'll see how lucky I get!unclejohn wrote:Salty Piece of Land?
...Plus, Lucky Stars has never been performed live...
