Like i said, wouldnt bother me much but i dont think i'll be catching any shows next year.
I gotta say, "sorry about your luck", but you are making the choice to go ex-pat. Pick another venue, or s*** it up. Pick which is more important, and take the short-term loss for the long-term gain.
4 weeks back, everyone was in a tizzy because of the announcement that Jimmy was spending the summer with his kids. Then, he announces the dates during the summer, and now some people are whining that they don't have a concert in their backyard.
Like I told Mossmann... roadtrip. If you don't want to, don't but don't complain because there are no Florida dates announced. They may be out later, they may not. Adapt, overcome, survive.. or don't.

And folks? Ya can't have all the shows you want in every city in the country..
I'm gonna hold Jimmy at gunpoint until he plays everywhere.
Think I'll post that on MySpace.Com.

That's pretty harsh-- Florida and the Gulf Coast IS Jimmy Buffett. I know Parrotheads who have moved here partially because of JB's influence. We have the largest population of Parrotheads anywhere in the U.S. That's why he should play FL everytime out..it's a no-brainer..ragtopW wrote:some of us have to roadtrip to shows..RinglingRingling wrote:Monkey wrote:i was ok waiting 2 years for concerts when i lived in seattle, but come on, we went to 3 or 4 shows the first year we lived here!

LOL, like i say not complaining, was just wondering wut the consensus is, there were several years between shows in seattle and i didn't complain, would be nice to catch a show before i go, but not end of the world and like i said already i am happy with a new album, so dont get your panties in such a wad. In fact i did say i was willing to travel to a show lolRinglingRingling wrote:Monkey wrote:i was ok waiting 2 years for concerts when i lived in seattle, but come on, we went to 3 or 4 shows the first year we lived here!

If you read my post as a complaint then you obviously didn't read it.
Ill make sure i don't make any posts about concert dates in the future as it's obviously taken as complaining. If I ask if there's a starbucks near by is that complaining?

I wish people would whine about people complaining when they arent complining.
