You should totally stop by Tom!!!! And I'm sure the day of the show you may be able to find a decent priced ticket! Stranger things have happened!tequilatom wrote:i may stop by for a cocktail or 2.........but won't be going to the show.....unless i stumble across a cheap ticket or free ticket.......i'll wait for Jones Beach and 2 greatwood shows!!!LIPH wrote:I'll probably be there.
I got tickets.... I couldn't resist. But I'm planning on Jones Beach as well. We'll see what those tickets run but I'm sure won't be nearly what Mohegan was.... D@mn indians!

I've been to both places before. I don't remember if there are places by Jones Beach or not. We drove back to CT after the show, but I'm sure there are places reasonably close. As for Mohegan, I know the casino hotel is booked solid, but I think there are a few hotels close to the casino. It's a fun tailgate. Last year was tons of fun. Wasn't crazy out of control but there were a lot of people who make it tons of fun!!! I'll be there with tons of jello shots!!!Fu Corleone wrote:Hey HarbourGirl, I'm thinking about going to Jones Beach too, after Mohegan Sun. Have you been there before? How is the parking and tailgating situation? Also any places to stay near by? I've never been there before.

Jones Beach has alot of places withing 10 - 15 minutes so it's easy. i got lucky and got a room at the casino this week but I know it's booked. There are alot of nearby places I know as i was looking into them if I didn't get my room at the place itself.habourgirl wrote:I've been to both places before. Best thing
The best thing about the Mohegan is the size of the arena, probably the closest you'll get to JB...not defending the tribe, but from what i heard last year they actually LOST money on the show itself (JB has minimum fee)...despite the ticket prices..BUT they made that up and more in...guess what? Gambling, food, hotel...etc....It's all part of their evil master plan to get your money...mine too!

I didn't notice anything horrible about the sound. I was in a pretty decent spot I guess. But it's definitely something I've heard from a lot of people. Oh well.Afternoon Golfer wrote:I was at the Mohegan show last year. Did anyone else think the sound quality in there was poor?
Oh, and I got my tickets today in the mail! WOO HOO!!!!
Ticketmaster's been delivering far to many tickets to my house lately. In the past few weeks, been getting a lot of tickets. Only ones left to arrive - Jones Beach.
