Who's going to Mohegan, 6/29/06?

Assuming it will be the same set up as last year, we were in a parking lot out back.. Pretty decent sized lot. Not crazy like GW or anything, but enough to accomodate everyone who was tailgating. I think I got there around 1 and there were already people drinking. This year I'll probably be getting there around 12 or 1.... Anyone know if they've said anything about tailgating for this year???? I know last year people called the arena to ask what the deal was? As long as they're still allowing it, that's what the deal probably will be!

It was pretty tame as far as the crowd.......i can't see why they would change things this year!!

So noon is good to get there eh? How was the bathroom situation? Did you go inside alot? I havent heard about the parking lot. Should we just assume that its the same as last year? Are you all meeting up someplace? sorry....more ?'s

As for the bathrooms last year...i believe there were port-o-lets......as far as going into the Casino...only at show time........as for me i probably won't get there till 2-3!!.for a couple of cocktails....and maybe on the show

Since I have a room at Mohegan for both Wed and Thursday, I'm going to plan on getting there around noon on Wednesday. I've never been there before so figure I have stuff to see besides just the show. Might hyave soem peopel with me, but either way good times at the Sun!

I'm not staying over Wednesday night but I might come on up to hang out for a few the night before! We'll have to hang out! THere's some decent bars in the casino! WOO HOO!!!

I didn't realize you lived close enough to just pop over for a drink or two ( or seberal

). Very cool. Yeah, we'll defintiely hit the bars...

Well, kinda... I just don't mind driving... New car so like driving it!!! I'm just a little over an hour away... Not a horrible drive.... So popping over for a few drinks isn't out of the question!

yeah that would be cool. There's a possibility my buddy Ant and his wife come but I'm thinking that's less likely now. The people at Mohegan hooked me up ( they figure I'll hook them up with a room at my place) so space isn't an issue but we'll see. Either way I'll be ready to rock and roll...

Talked with Mohegan Sun again today. They still do not have the written e-mail available for the tailgating rules. Should be available about ten days prior to the show.

They were able to tell me that they will have a separate section for Buffett tailgating again. You will have to show your ticket to access that area. No beach scenes - sand, swimming pools ect. (they don't want to have too much of a mess to pick up after because the lot will be used for regular parking again). He also said he thought no grills because they will have food for sale - but wasn't definate on that one.

I also mentioned more bathrooms would be a good idea - we'll see how much my comps are really worth!

They are supposed to be sending me the email when it's availble - I'll post it when I get it.

The sun is finally shining in Maine and only 23 more days to the show!
