I got two seats not the best but better than no seats it amazes me that each location is so out of sync... a friend was @ a differnt giant eagle and he was 5th in line bought his tix about 5min before they even started selling @ the store I was @!!! Go figure.
that bites

TTEFFUB wrote:My wife went up the Giant Eagle for tix and the girl would not let people choose between seats or lawn. she said you have to take what comes up at best available. only 1 person wanted pavilion there, people were P/Oed!
I got two online so all is well. They need to teach these people how to run the ticketmaster machines on big shows like this.
I have heard that before... The one in Shaler does that ONLY because they know how fast they run out!!!
I think why the hell not buy so many...the Giant Eagle locations do not have to enter in payment authorization....
I know it bites, but IF you were the person behind someone who could not make up thier mind and then tickets shortly became sold out, you would be pi$$ed beyond belief!!!!
I say take what you can and run for the hills....chance is you could be shut out

I had two tickets locked up eight rows back in the pavilion. HOWEVER...knowing that I have seen Jimmy in concert four times, one being for free in Orlando, I decided to pass. I`m sorry Jimmy, I will spend the $300.00 wisely when I go to Florida in a few months. I have a great job that pays well, but even I had to draw the line this year. The man has gotten greedy with his ticket prices. Remember Jimmy, as much as we love you, we are still the ones responsible for allowing you to be the star that you are. Without us Jimmy...just remember that. Now where is my copy of Floridays

Did you see him playing the concert for the ENRON guy's birthday....he scored well into the 6-figures for that one private event.
JB has long passed us by....

Hey Conch,
How are you? Are you going to make it to Camden/Philly this year?
Got my tix this morning.

Conch - Never say never. We are thinking about it as well. The only thing we don't like is that it is so far removed from Pittsburgh. (I've never been, but I've read)
Lullaby - Be sure to get your BN nametag and watch for threads in the Pre-Show gatherings section to coordinate where we will meet.
We met ColdwaterConch last year at the Philly show. He was even kind enough to bring me a Primanti's sammich! Not quite the same as being there, but still good.
Join the party!

how are the lawn seats?

We had a 16 year old kid working the machine and we went thru 9 people before it sold out. Unbelievable! We have about 16 of us going with only 9 tickets. My brother had 6 tickets on ticketmaster, but he didn't have my security code on the back of my card. He calls frantic and i look on the back of my card and it is worn off!!!!!! window expired with no tickets
We will have to keep our ears open for some extra lawn seats.

It is the lawn. If lucky no rain for 2 days prior and day of, hence, no slip and slide.
It is a hill there should be photos on post gazette pavillion's website. check it out.
I love the lawn. I had the pavillion seats 2 times and prefer the lawn. My seats were clear view left of the stage 20 rows back....another time center way back...
You will have to judge for yourself
Hey I have a question... sure some of us have photos up...but how we will know each other out there at the show(s)? Write a big BN on our cars?

Last year I took my wife to the Philly show....I had never met a BN'er in person, so we all just swapped cell phone numbers. My wife was petrified...she thought that everyone on internet forums were muderers...needless to say, it all worked out very well (fortunately BJ's wife and my wife related well).
On the gathering's thread someone will just compile cell numbers and we can meet at the show.
