Has anyone been on the lawn in Pittsburgh before.. got tix yesterday and was curious about the views etc.. Also, the tix had a row number and section on them.. Is the lawn general admission or is it broken down into sections?

Nope...all of the lawn is GA. It is just the way TM goes about knowing how many people bought tickets on the lawn. If you worked for TM (like I did) it becomes obvious but I understand it is wierd for others.

Got my tickets yesterday for the same show. Will look forward to meeting other fellow BN's. My tickets are so far back I might as well be in the lawn. It's not under roof. So lets all hope the weather is wonderful.

the only section is a family section it s ropped off no alcohol no smoking deal. get there early if you wanna see anything the lawn goes far back. but i did here last year they put better screens out there.

If you go in when the gates open, you are guaranteed to be up front on the lawn. If you stay out in the parking lot and party until show time then you will be in the back. Put down a blanket or something to claim your spot AND MAKE FRIENDS...YOU WILL MEET SOME GREAT PEOPLE.

From the lawn, you can't really see the show...and the sound is about what you would expect...

As someone else said...if you get in when the open the gates, you will have a decent seat...if you wait, not so much.
