I find it pretty ironic that 35 people joined BN so far today. The same day as a couple big ticket on sale dates. Hmm.. I wonder if they're just lookin' for tickets...

no. lots of people join at this time of year. They start thinking buffett and want to talk, hang out, get info.
I joined for two times at concert season for those reasons. Before that I just would sometimes surf the boards but never post.

This is one of the best places to get info of concerts, one of the reasons I joined up.

That's how I wound up here. I got shut out of Fenway and started nosing around for other ways to get tix. I found BN and stayed.

And the rest is history...

I just joined myself, and I'm not in search of tix. I will likely have a few tix I'll be able to post on the exchange as well. I've been a lurker around here for quite a while, and the whole "NULL" ticket issue for Cincy, and the thread that went along with it seemed to get me fired up enough to join the site to read/post more about the issue. My mother-in-law, another regular around here, called to tell me about the thread. I'm already looking forward to meeting up with some of you at Cincy and Indy this year.

I think there may be some people signing up just looking for tix, but there are others here with Buffett on our mind, and Sirius on our radio dial...

Yeah, what Flocker said. That's why I joined last year.

Although, as I recall, I was told that most newbies are killed and eaten or humped to death by Monkey Boy. Ah, good times.

Ahh, I believe the null section will end up being on the "Rum Runner" behind the stage. I'm planning on making a "NULL section" sign for the boat...

There is NO way I will be able to get my lovely wife to sit on the lawn, as we will be about 6 months along the way of having another keet. Anyone else miss out on tix interested in a boat party? I believe I have room for about 6-8 more. Come on in, the waters phine.

I am always amazed that most of the "I need tickets" posts on the ticket exchange are from Newbies, or at least from folks with very few posts.

Nope...I just joined the other day but mainly because the other Buffet(T) boards I had found before were pretty dead and this one as active.

Heck, I didn't even know there was a tour announced until I read it here! Glad I did!

Newbies are good grilled and served on tortillas with guacamole, pico de gallo, beans and rice.

It's always good to see the new faces this time of year and so sad to see faces disappear after he leaves their venue of interest.

I joined in 2002 because I was looking for Dallas tickets. Hooked up with a very nice guy from Ohio who sent me GREAT seats at face value.

Found my very first BN buddies (CRC and JaneLovesJimmy) . . . hooked up with them at the Dallas show. Then, I started hanging out at the cafe.....and found a bunch of friends!

Welcome, newbies. This is a great place for all things Buffett and to just hang out. Enjoy!

I joined recently not for tickets. I got 2 Saturday morning 3/11 when they went on sale and 2 more tonight 3/13 on ticketmaster for Pittsburg. It wasn't easy but I just kept trying. I came to this site to meet other parrotheads.
