Good question. I'm wondering if we could safely leave our van in the tailgate parking lot and just walk across the street, etc.?

You can laff, big boy, but I heard some people got their cars broken into. Although I doubt it would happen if we got a parking place by the main road. I now know to take off all external van decorations, magnets, etc. before the concert.
Are you really not coming to the Cinci concert, R/2 ? It won't be the same....I promise not to attack you or your underwear ! 8)

There were cars broken into last year, not sure but I think it was the venue parking lot.......folks need to not leave wallets, purses and cell phones in plain view.

As for the parking situation. Assuming you know that the bigg building at the the top of the pic is moonlihe gardens, If you go into Coney to park you may be herded to a parking lot on the other side of Moonlite; closer to the expressway. Never seen any problems as far as parking saftey but never parked here for a Buffett tailgate either.

However there is parking for Coney between the pool and riverbend/race track too. This parking area is heavily patrolled by bike cops. :o :x

If you park at the Riverbend parking they let you party more but the still patrol all parking on blacktop via bikes. Coney does not want any stinkin drunks near the kiddies and families that come to Coney for the pool and rides.

If you park at the race track (left of the track) the party is on, very little problems with restrictions. The bike patrol does come thru and reminds everyone to not use glass containers.

Now the parking across the street from the track is un monitored but also less secure for your ride.

Parking across from Coney is pretty much un monitored and a little more secure because it is viewable from 2 streets.

Hope this helps you all.
See you in 13 days.

Do not know if it has been mentioned. Coney will accept ( Seeing) your Concert tkt as proof and let you in to park as early as noon if you are going to the Beganniversary.

Does anybody know what the drink selection and drink prices will be at Beganniversary? Are there any drinks (soft drinks or tea or something) included in the price with the buffet? I'm guessing they will be carding people for alcoholic drink purchases?

Yes they will card when you come in the first time and there will be 2 id bracelets. one over and one under drinking age.they must remain on your arm,
There will be several bars set up in moonlight gardens. The drinks there are actually pretty reasonable. nothing like the prices we are used to PAYING at Riverbend and other concert venues.

Are the nonalcoholic drinks like Coke and stuff included in the price of admission or do you have to buy them too?

Tickets are $10. General Admission. This gets you in the venue to experience Fingers Taylor/KD Moore/Johnny Russler & the BBB
That is a BARGAIN in itself!
VIP/Reserved tickets are $25. This gets you in the event, Preferred Reserved Tables and All you can eat 'Buffet Buffett.'
No drinks are included in either level.
All proceeds go to MAKE-A-WISH Foundation of Southern Ohio.
And, No, soft drinks are not double.

My husband ordered VIP tickets when they first went on sale. Never received anything. He called again and someone took all his info again. Still haven't received anything. Are we supposed to get tickets in the mail? Will they just have our names at the door? Starting to panic here.
Love in the library, quiet and cool.

Just ordered 3 tickets! :D I'll just hope and pray they make it in the mail by next Wednesday afternoon. What happens if they don't make it by then? Do I just call or will you all have my name at the gate? Oh yeah, the person taking my order didn't ask about Tshirt sizes. Do you all need those sizes now or will we just get whatever is available at the gate? Thanks for answering all my questions. This is exciting and I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh yeah......Please put us at the BN table if at all possible. I ordered 3 tickets and my name is Robert Huffaker. Finz!

You will be able to just pick up your free t-shirt in the lobby upon arrival.
Coupons will be attached to your tickets to redeem for the shirts.
Thanks for coming. It will be a great time!
