Really? Why is XM offering a $3 a month subscription AND a free new reciever to any subscriber who threatens to cancel?
How many senior executives have left the company lately? Given Oprah $50 million to do a 1/2 a week show? That should really attract some new subscribers.
You're on the wrong bus Shane, XM is in 'sirius' trouble. I dumped all mine in Dec. and feel like Gordon Gekko. :D
I just bought more sirius, so I'm putting my money where my big mouth is. :D

I have heard that Opie and Anthony will not be with XM whenever their contract expires. Rumor has it they are trying to find jobs anywhere that will have them. I heard that XM is not pleased with O&A.

Sirius added the Playboy station yesterday.

I called a few weeks ago and cancelled, and then called back yesterday to confirm it, since they sent me a letter saying how my renewal date was coming and my credit card would be charged, but they didn't offer me that deal. The girl I talked to originally kind of laughed when I said I was cancelling to go over to Sirius for Stern as in "here's another one!"

Where did you hear this? I'm not challenging you cause I have no clue, just wondering how reputable your source is cause as a huge O&A fan this is crappy news... :( :(

As for the Playboy station... I just don't see the point of listening to naked chicks...

I saw an article in the paper the other day, I forget if it was the Daily News or Newsday, that they're negotiating with some station to come back on commercial radio. They claim 90% of what they do can be done on regualr radio. I don't know if they're thinking of leaving on their own or maybe XM has told them when their contracts are up they're history.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

The other rumor going around is that they will be on both. That should really help out XM. Gee, why am I paying $12.95 or $3 a month to listen to these guys if they are on regular radio too?
XM has said that O&E have done nothing to attract new listeners. They've been a very big disapointment.

I have a buddy who is a big shot for Clear Channel. He says they have auditioned for various markets with CC. They also have auditined for Infinity stations. Bubba the Love Sponge claims they have been trying to play nice to Howard but he told them they would never work at Sirius.

Clear Channel has some deal with XM that forces XM to make 4 music channels add commericals back.

One big mistake for XM, I believe, was signing with Directv, all of the music channels are on there, plus Opie and Anthony, who at first, were an extra $3 a month to listen to when they went on XM.

CC is also adding commercial stations to XM. The first one will be WLW 700 out of Cincinatti, Oh.

Its the billing not the location of the radio. All radios have to be billed to one person
