Check This Collection Out

So this guy is selling everthing Buffett that he owns. I can't figure out why anyone would want to do that, but maybe he needs $? Does this seem a little expensive for what he's got? Also I thought half the fun of collecting Jimmys music, books, articles etc. was finding them one by one and then enjoying them. It seems like getting this much stuff at once would cause overload. Anyway...

One might eventually pay that much for all that stuff, but it sure would take away the fun of finding it.

The collection makes a nice checklist of Buffett stuff. :)

Impressive list, but you could find almost all of those items, with the exception of the the LP albums and some of the tapes fairly easily. I don't think he'll get $5,000 for it.

Only a 93% rated seller too. He must not have satisfied the buyers of his Michael Jackson collection, Beatles collection and his Elvis collection.

Ummm   I bet other than some of the mags... I have that same collection... in fact... I have more LPs then that....

Who does he think will shell out that kind of cash for a ready made collection??? You can get most of it online SOMEWHERE and I do not think it would be so expensive.....

Either a big Amy Lee/TC fan or someone who got shut out by TM for the last time!

I would think anyone who would want any of that stuff would already have a lot of it.

So the real question is would you spend 5 grand on all this stuff or for 4 front row seats?

The comments left are pretty funny too...

On what day is a paperback edition of Heaven Is Under Our Feet considered "rare"? You can pick up either the paperback or hardcover for less than a buck each at half.com, and there are plenty copies of both available.

I've got some of that vinyl, too, plus others he doesn't have, and I doubt I could get five grand for it.

I think he's trying to lure in someone who wants instant Parrothead "status" and who'll pay for a collection like that so he can pretend he's been a JB fan from day one.

He should have just left it an open auction. But I bet it would have never climbed above a few hundred dollars. . . oh well, now he'll have to pay EBay on a $5,000.00 insertion fee when it doesn't sell! Ouch!
By the way, you could buy most of that stuph through Amazon and with Super Saver shipping ohn orders of $25.00 or more the shipping would be free!
