The show at Shoreline a few years back that was cancelled because Jimmy had to go to home to his dying mother’s bed side made a pretty big impression on how selfish some of his fans can be. We stopped at an In-and Out- Burger joint for a cheese burger when we got the news Jimmy’s mom was deathly ill, the concert was cancelled, and he needed to return to her bedside to be with her. There were quite a few concert goers in the restaurant and I felt compelled to share the horrible news with and save them another 2 hours of drive time. I was absolutely appalled at about half the people responded that Jimmy should still do the show, even though his mom was dying. What A-HOLES!!! Count our blessing each and every day. Enjoy every gathering and keep the bitching to a low rumble… like ticket prices and surcharges. Life’s to short to get caught up on all the other stuff. Our lives are much richer for all we have experienced and all we share. On April 25th, I’ll be blessed to be at Shoreline once again and go back to the hotel room horse and won’t work the next day. Another trip to PH Mecca for TR.
got to stop wishin' got to start fishin'....

s*** it up, shut up and deal with it, everyone here that plans on going to any show is having to deal with it, its not like we didn't notice until you started the 54th thread about it, Jimmy is not gonna come out tomorrow and say "the people on buffettnews arent happy with my prices, locations, and the way i get my tickets out, so i am now going to change it up to please them.
I will one (01) refund anyone that paid for tickets, and now just open up the gates to 1st come 1st serve until we reach max attendence then close the doors.
Two (02) I am open to suggestions to whom you think should be in my band, I will then hire them and let them all have 40 minute solo's to please you.
I will three (03) play every county in every state, then do the same for every fan that is outside of the united states as well.
Four (04) I will also give out free beer at my concerts because people think the beer cost to much.
And five (05) I will play what ever songs you want to hear, just mail me or hell even call me on my personal cell phone and i'll agree to play it, and even talk to your grandmother if that will make you happy."
He is not gonna say that no matter how much everyone complains.
Disclaimer-I do not mean this as an attack on anyone or any group just held my thoughs on this long enough that I finally had to just say it, I have said my piece and I am done, if I have offended anyone sorry to hurt your feelings, you will be ok tomorrow I promise, and I bet you have to deal with something worse then the problems a concert can throw on you, if you haven't already sometime in your life.

The ticket prices ARE fairly high, but if I cut a few corners here and there, I'm actually able to afford to go to THREE concerts, so THAT doesn't bother me.
Venue location? He's not playing in my back yard, but I've never had any trouble getting to any venue between West Palm Beach and Honolulu, so THAT doesn't bother me either.
Ticket availability? We ALL know Ticketbastard sux, but somehow I'm always able to get tickets, so SO FAR this hasn't bothered me.
NO AMY LEE, T.C. MITCHELL, OR DANCERS!
THAT bothers me.
Yeah, yeah, I know all the complaining can get annoying, and I don't think many people complain more than me, but, like any customer who spends money, I think we all have the right to complain if we feel justification in doing so.
HOWEVER, that being said, if the past is any indication, I have no doubt that after the Dallas, Alpine, and Chicago concerts, I'll be right back here saying what a great time I had & hope to hear the oh-so welcome "NOT YET" during his singing of O.P.H.

Other than the fact Jimmy hasn’t booked a Florida date.... I have no disappointments...
The loss of Amy Lee, T.C. Mitchell and the Reeferette Dancers
No dancers or horns in the 70 or 80s
Ticket Prices. They are out of sight!
Yeah and.......So are the prices of cars, homes, milk, and designer shoes
Ticket Availability. There are none to be found!
I can get a ticket somewhere...the gate, BN phrends, scalpers......
Venue Location. I can't get there from here!
I can see him if I choose to travel

Nothing bothers me at all about this years tour... whatever will be, will be. I'm totally looking forward to it, and all of the smiles it will deliver to me!
Like others have said, the negative reactions to this year's tour bother the heck out of me. It is what it is... so be it.

I'd be interested to see the poll results, but not interested enough to vote for one of those categories. It seems (in reading through the thread) that a major category (along the lines of "nothing bothers me that much" or "all the whining") needs to be added. I was sad to hear about the horns (and dancers...for Larry), but I'm long since over that and am now just looking forward to the tour.
But the whining...the greediness, entitlement and personal attacking attitude of some has been disappointing, to say the least.
Now we all know Jimmy's a professional who has undoubtedly developed a very thick skin over the years, but I can't help but think that if/when he reads some of these threads they just might take a bit of joy out of the summer job he's loved so much...and that's really sad.
