We have a couple of Islands opening up in Folsom and Roseville. There sort of CIP "light"...... no, actually they are nothing like them and there's no reason to buy one of there tee shirts.
But I found a great bottle of Barbera to sulk with!
Hope you have enough to share...
What winery?
I don't think we have any tropical themed restaurants down my way. There used to be a little Caribbean restaurant down on the Delta at Paradise Point, but I'm not sure if it is still there. Heck, with all the development I'm not sure the marina, let alone the Delta is still there.

NOT TRUE!! I had some calamari in Lodi just last summer at one of those little sidewalk cafes. What can be more tropical than calamari with beers and 110 degree temps!! OK, never mind. The winery is a new Amador winery called C. G. Di Arie. Great Zins and Syrahs. This is my first Barbera from them. WOW!!!
We found this CIP by accident for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner last Wednesday!!!
Just got back from a week-long vacation at Massanutten (first time back to the Blue Ridge area since our honeymoon).
We went to Monticello on our anniversary day, and on the way back to resort, my son calls out, "There's a Cheeseburger in Paradise!" (Yes, we took keet on our anniversary trip. Always do.)
We turned around and had a wonderful place to have our dinner. Margaritas, cheeseburgers and shrimp were great! Our first CIP experience.
Waiter Jordan was excellent. We told him we were big parrotheads, but he didn't seem to understand, because later he asked if we were Jimmy Buffett fans! Then he asked test questions: "How many holes did he shoot in the freezer?" and "What's the name of his boat?" Didn't seem to be a lot of JB fans in the mountains.

I completely understand. People in Charlottesville generally only "get" things related to blue and orange (the school colors of U.Va.).
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.
