Based on the four inches of new snow in my back yard.....the calendar may say Spring.....but it looks like freaking WINTER!
BUT HAPPY SPRING and here's hoping it comes here SOON!

This day is one of mixed blessings. While I most certainly welcome the first day of spring it's also the day we lost my father to congestive heart failure back in 1994.

Those kinds of anniversaries are always hard.........they seem to mellow with time, but always just 'right there'....

Got to get some of those great sandals made in Colorado by Chaco. The heel strap with the non slip vibram sole work great in the snow…. Like to take the dogs our or grab some fire wood.

I just love this "80 degrees one day and 50 the next day" crap. Spring arrives and the temps drop 30 degrees in 24 hours. What gives?

It snowed here today too! They turned school out, due to ice, at 12:30pm...and have called it off for tomorrow!
