Great Job finding that fur baby her forever home!!
Isn't it a great feeling knowing that you helped to save a life?
Every pet that's adopted from a shelter (even a no kill one) opens up space so that another one is saved. We're in NJ, but most of the dogs in our rescue come from kill shelters in GA, WV and IN.

The dog I adopted from 11th hour came from GA.

Fricking tears to my eyes. Seriously! I have a black lab and didn't know where the original post was going. Just gave her (Margarita) a kiss and told her another one of her cousins was safe and loved.

You know I just LOVE this story! What a great idea to walk with the dogs in a parade.
Our pet rescue adoption days are coming up in May. It is such a heartwarming feeling to watch a "match" being made!
Thanks for sharing that story.
