Most definitely.
My next choice might be California Promises

I don't think anyone has mentioned Come to the Moon or One Particular Harbour yet.

I always found Savannah Fare You Well haunting. Maybe not the words so much as others, but the melody itself always gets me.

I met the guy that wrote that...and heard the story....It was hilarious!

Just started talking to his buddy , in Tennessee....He was sitting on a porch...pickin' his banjo...Then picked up a mandolin..We started talking ..and a week later when I came home , I had a lot of new friends.. :D

So far, I have to say my number one is definitely:

The Night I painted The Sky

It's closely followed by:

Changing Channels

When The Coast is Clear

It's My Job

Cowboy In The Jungle

and

Love In The Library
...someplace farther south, where the water's warm, the drink's are cold, and I don't know the names of the players...

No, Steve Goodman did but I don't think it matters who wrote the songs listed in this thread since no one specified that they had to be Buffett originals.

"Something So Feminine About A Mandolin" has always been one of my favorites.

actually a "melody" is a single-note succession... usually the lead part in a song (usually the lead vocals). in other words, "strummin my six string" would be part of the melody in margaritaville. the guitars, drums, etc would comprise the rhythm. and finally, the tonal agreement between all of the instruments and vocals form the harmony. rhythm + melody + harmony = music

if by "slow" song, you mean ballad

sorry i had to  :D :D

My top few are:

He went to Paris: Far and away my favorite sogn.
Tin Cup Chalice
Little Miss Magic: Strangely enough has gained in my popularity since my daughters birth.
Island
Savannah Fair you Well: More because that is where my wife and I met and so want to move back there. I know it is about his daughter, but to us we always think about the city.
