I have a friend in "IT" that keeps preachin' MAC to me...................I may have to give it a try, the next time I decide to purchase a computer (or should I say...when I can AFFORD to purchase a computer).

No beer today. I have to go to work at 6:00 PM. And the WEDNESDAY I was talking about was three weeks ago. He's been here & gone. This P.O.S. is STILL a P.O.S.
No beer, but getting out the 12 gauge and putting this P.O.S. out of it's misery would sure make me feel better.

No warranty. It's a refurbished one that I got from a computer service & repair company in Cedar Rapids-30 miles away.SharkOnLand wrote:Is it still under warranty?

I try to stay away from the refurbished stuff (especially electronic gear). There's a reason they were returned in the first place... A lot of refurbished things will have gremlins that never get worked out, no matter how many times you try to fix 'em...Wino you know wrote:No warranty. Buy Apple Computers! We have stock in that company. Purchased it many years ago when it was around $14/share now its over $65/share.
