Thank you very much....

One last VEGAS question... I was looking at MGM for the hell of it as in for seating (and reconfirmed my hotel). The seating will more than likely be the same as for most concerts. I won't be buying the $$$ seats - I will be in nose bleed....any suggestions?

the nosebleed seats are few and far between

another good source.. :D :D
again thank you.....

I live in Pittsburgh and we have an area called the Strip District. I am going to look at the party stores down there and see what I can get - maybe by passing shipping charges. I have already ordered some things...

Right now I am locked to keep checking this link/BN in general for the for sale dates for the tickets....

One question on that - typically TicketMaster or whoever has tickets going on sale at 10am...would that be the same for Vegas and will that be Vegas' time zone? Making it 1pm on the east coast....

Don't give up hope on the 28th....every other indicator before Jimmy's interview on Friday said 10/21 and 10/28. Plus, if he's going to do San Diego and Santa Barbara (as shown on the tour dates here), they would likely be Tuesday and Thursday 10/24 and 10/26.....making the 27th too great of workload for Jimmy (back to back nights in different towns....are you kidding me???)

I think the mention of the 27th was just a senior moment and we'll see 10/21 and 10/28 officially announced soon....time will tell :-?
I totally agree Deano... The Friday(27th) date just doesn't make sense. I would definitely wait for the Margaritaville announcement. The recent concert history has been that Friday is the sacred PRE-prefunction night...whether it's at Tommy Rockers for LMS Party or at Hooters or wherever. Hmmm...I think Jimmy's just messin' with us. :pirate:

Hey RagtopW, Hi baby! Are you flying down to Vegas or driving? We are headed out of here Thursday night and will most likely stop over in Ely and then leave there the crack of dawn on Friday. If you know anyone who needs a ride, let us know. We'd love to have some company.
Hope to see you again soon. :) K

Hey everyone. I am confused here. Is the October 21 date in Vegas an *official* date. I looked on the MGM arena site and they don't have Jimmy listed.

And when do you think the tickets will go on sale?

I apologize if this info has been posted before, I just skimmed the thread and didn't see the info.

Thanks! :D

I am new to this blog so bare with me... I'm looking forward to the Buffett shows in Vegas been a couple times and had a blast... this year I have friends from all over coming out but I'm not sure what the ticket limit is... I looked at other shows and it ranges from 4-8 tickets. Is Vegas any different? Does anyone know? Also, I was hoping the "official" announcement had been made... I'm thinking it has to be by this Friday... this is gonna be such a blast... later all

They are official. Don't worry. They may not be up on the m'ville web page, but I confirmed the dates with several very reliable sources - oct. 21st and 28th

Dido, i got two sources, one of which works at a specific casino, and another that is very much in the middle the preplanning involved with putting on the concert. Both confirmed the dates. I have booked flights and hotel accordingly if that says anything!

Thanks Tracy. I am counting on Saturday, the 28th instead of the rumoured Friday the 27th.

Great seeing you at GW this past Sat.

Vegas Concerts and Ticket Sales Date

It sounds like the 21st and 28th of October are the real dates for the Vegas shows. Now the next and perhaps most important question is...When will tickets go on sale? Does anyone have some inside information on that?

Isn't it really weird that tickets for The Rolling Stones for 11/11 and Barbra Streisand for 11/18 are on sale but JB isn't even listed?
