I have a friend who is a lefty. He writes and eats and does the mouse on the computer left handed. But because his dad was his baseball coach and wanted a switch hitter his dad made him practice right handed hitting. A little too much, he bats and golfs right handed. But, right handed golf clubs are cheaper than left handed, maybe Jimmy did the opposite, practiced left handed hitting too much and now bats and golfs left handed. He can afford a set or 50 of left handed golf clubs right? Have a great evening!!!

my Dad says that's as it should be.... that the power hand (in theory, your dominant hand) should be on the bottom of the bat....
I wonder if that's why most hockey players shoot lefthanded? The power hand (right) at the top of the stick, the equivalent of the bottom of the bat.
you shoot the way you shovel snow....

Hmmm..... then either I shovel snow backwards or I shoot backwards. I shoot right-handed (left hand on the top of the stick, right hand below), but I shovel the other way around (right hand at the top of the shovel).

I always was a little confused.... :o

I was also the best pond hockey player in my neighborhood. I was just 15 or 20 years too old.... there weren't girls teams back then. :D

I shoot either way... one of the little things you pick up quick on a paintball field! It just takes some time to train your eyes to see things correctly out the other side.

Being able to use both hands is nice...until you don't know which hand is going to do what! Hubby doesn't like to do work with me, he's never sure which way my hands are going! I might think of doing something with my right, then the left hand will do it. It's like they are deciding to do what they want & not tell me. I can not write very well with my left, am more towards thr right hand but when I grab a bat...hard to tell which is strongest hand...both hands grasp the same area. Call me weird!
