I'd keep my shoes on..you gonna spend more time trying to get them to clean up then it will take to kick the toys out of the way

I just had a brilliant idea (I know, all my ideas are brilliant, but this particular one even moreso) - if you put the toys through a wood chipper, they will fit in a much smaller container.

I'm so freakin' smart I scare myself sometimes.

If you think Legos are bad, wait until they hit about 16 or 17. Just threatened my 18 year old senior with locking up anything that I find on her bedroom floor when I get home from work! Locked up some of my 14 year olds stuff last night. My teenagers are driving me NUTS!!!!!!!

Yeah. Target has them in primary and pastel colors. I don't really care what color it is, but hubby will not have anything girly for his boy.

I just want the mess picked up!!

We had wanted a Finding Nemo one that WalMart has, but it's out of stock online and we haven't found it in any stores. :-?

The Nemo one is cool. Tony has a Nemo toddler bed that's pretty sweet too which is why we wanted the matching toy thingie. But, for $25 this makes mommy very very happy! :D

this is the one tony has

it's basically a bed designed to use a crib mattress and sits close to the ground for when a kiddo is too big for a crib but too little for a twin size bed.

plus, tony's bedroom is uber-tiny so it fits quite nicely in there. :D

Funny... remember the purge I mentioned where I found my virginity? A major focus of the purge is also kids toys, as I was feeling the same way. My older sisters came in to help, because I'm emotionally attached to everything, and they needed to be there to overrule me time and again!

Amongst the 3 trailers of stuff already hauled out :o  , was bins like the ones in your 1st post, and a Lego table. Actually, those we put on the end of the driveway, along with an old computer, and a family came to the door and asked if they could take them, to which we gladly said yes.

Many hours have been put in, and we're still not done, but it's much more livable already. We still have 7 or 8 MEGA supersize trash bags (filling a small bedroom) full of stuffed animals to go through, which will be soon. They will find new life in Guatamala I believe.

I hear ya Tiki Bar. I'm not a huge packrat, but I could probably give away 100 stuffed animals and still have more than any child ever needs. I am SO emotionally attached so some of those toys.

Kinda like, "OMG, that was the first toy we ever bought Tony before he was born." and "Victoria used to play with that all the time when..."

Yeah. I have issues. :-?

Actually, Joann, do you happen to have any of those character-style slippers. You know, the slippers for little kids with character heads on them???

If so, I could use a few for my day care lady.

That's be SWEEEEET!!!

I think I'm gonna start a thread asking for slippers. :D

My day care lady can't seem to find any and she puts the kids in them every morning and hers are practically falling apart.

I'll pay for shipping!
