Me=Dumb + Needs Help

Seems like over Christmas break I read a list of rules that Jimmy lives by, or something to that effect. I can't remember if there's a special title to the list or anything, and I made the mistake of not printing it out at the time.

I'm assuming someone else knows what I'm talking about. If so, anyone know where that topic is located? I've had no luck searching for it.

I hope I didn't imagine the whole thing (boy, that would be embarrassing!).

Thanks!

Jesus Christ, you people are smart (and fast)!

I was pretty sure some of it was also in APLA50 but I skimmed through it a couple times and it didn't jump out at me. (It's been a very long semester for this young phan!)

Thanks, again!

Those six things are from Tales From Margaritaville in the story called "Are You Ready for Freddy."

Lesson One: Never forget--they are always the enemy.

Lesson Two: Just remember, assholes are born that way, and they usually don't change.

Lesson Three: You do not want to go to jail.

Lesson Four: When you start to take yourself seriously, you're in trouble.

Lesson Five: It takes no more time to see the good side of life than it takes to see the bad.

Lesson Six: If you decide to run with the ball, you count on fumbling and getting the s*** knocked out of you a lot, but never forget how much fun it is just to be able to run with the ball.

and following those rules...

"Bop till you drop."

Also these rules are posted at Lulu's and were Jimmy's mom's.

Peet's Philosphy

1. Read often, including the classics.

2. Accept everyone for who they are, not what they do.

3. Be well-travelled.

4. Learn to be a listener.

5. Live by the sea.

6. Listen to your spirit and find joy.

7. Education, like money, doesn't make you happy~but it sure helps.

8. Love and Family are the best things we have.
