Reliable Source?

Post by SMLCHNG »

I've read so many threads, and many different topics.

Lots of lots of folks cite 'reliable sources' tell them this or that information.

Can y'all share what exactly does a 'reliable source' means??

:)

I'll take a stab at it....

To me, a reliable source is someone who is known to have connections to (in this case) JB's organization, and who has been proven correct in the past when passing on breaking news and information.

**edit** And as Wayne points out several posts down, one does not identify a reliable source, because you sure don't want to put him/her in a bind....

It means I know more than I care to let on.
and I would prefer not to name my source,
as I know they are right but do not want them in
trouble.

Yes. Sometimes the horse should remain nameless.
