Places to stay in ATL

Has anyone else noticed that almost all of the hotels in the Buckhead and Downtown area of ATL are sold outfor theweekend of the show. Anyone else have any other good sugguestions on where to stay? I would prefer to stay in DT or Buckhead. Thanks!!!!

i just stayed at the hilton airport and it was awesome!

Had to book at the airport Sheraton....not my first choice but as you said, downtown is full...

My knowledge of Buckhead hotels is mainly around the Lenox Park area, and it has been awhile. The Hampton Inn was full and the Red Roof Inn seems to have disappeared.

Was trying to remember what other hotels I had seen there, and I came up with this for Buckhead. Don't know what dates you wanted so I just plugged in Thurs-Sun for 2 people.

i have a friend that works at the airport westin if you want me to see if there are any openings. also, if you don't mind about a 20 minute drive to HIFI BUYS then there's a nice holiday inn in my quaint little town of fayetteville

Luckily, I have friends in Atlanta I can stay with. The only thing I hate about Atlanta is that Lakewood is in a TERRIBLE part of town!

I can't imagine trying to make it all the way back to Buckhead (or some of the ones in Atlanta) after a Buffett show.

The Airport Westin is a lot closer if that one is still available.
