These are exactly the kind of responses that get under my skin. I didn't see anything derogatory in the post other than the person simply thought it was too much to pay for a ticket. So now someone is less of a fan because ticket prices have gotten so high? What a load of BS.

I'm saying if you're whining about paying too much, about someone getting tickets three rows better than you because of a corporate sponsor or about the fact that a scalper might have made money off of someone, then you've already strayed enough that what really is the point.

And if god forbid someone does spill a beer on you, here is an idea. Chill outt, rub the shark on your head, and get over it. Hell, I still have mud in my hair from Buckeye Lake 91. If someone had spilled beer on you at that show you wouldn't have even felt it, and you know what, it was a top 5 Buffett show for me.

Okay, so there is a contingent here that while not being snobs, still consider themselves somehow above sitting in lawn seats. Fine. But are any of you familiar with basic supply/demand principle? Last year, in most locations pavillion seats sold out in 3 or 4 seconds. So you jack the price up to try to eliminate demand, they still sell out in a matter of seconds. You've got one side whining that it costs too much and the other side whining that they got shut out. Meanwhile the vast majority of us are sitting on the lawn, enjoying a rum drink and laughing at who it is that really doesn't "get it".

So you're saying Buffett raised the prices because he doesn't want anybody to go to his concerts? That's what would happen if he eliminated demand.

Thanks but I still see the comment "more tickets for me!" as being not only condescending but selfish. Some folks have very good reasons for not attending this year's tour, I fail to see why other see that as an opportunity. You can bet your sweet ass it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to make obtaining tix any easier.
