Don't REALLY drink beer on the roof...

Post by pbans »

Just in case you thought the Budweiser Superbowl ad was really promoting drinking beer on the roof, here's an article to clear it up.....

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/29/busin ... 9adco.html

Seriously, someone is complaining because it sent a 'bad message'........geez, you'd think they're all from Utah or something....

Aw, MAN!

In college, we had this house where 3 roommates and I lived in our junior and senior years. It had a flat roof outside the upstairs foyer that was accessible only through a window, but we loved to go out on our "terrace" and indulge in some drankin' when the weather was nice. It was a great place to stargaze, and, if you and your squeeze could get it alone . . . well, there were 3 children conceived up there! (Not mine!!!)

There goes my whole weekend...
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

They want to curb underage drinking? Why don't they run public service announcements that tell parents to be parents to their fn kids instead of working to censor what I can watch?!

When I was pregnant with Victoria I got to meet him briefly at a reading he did at the Denver Public Library. Tickets were only $15 and he signed my copy of Trying to Save Piggy Sneed.

I think we need immediate "quitcherbitchin" legislation passed by Congress. Then all these special little groups that get their undies in a twist over trivial stuff will have to devote their energies to things that actually make a difference.
