it's SUMMER!

Post by carey24 »

It was 70 today in B-More, so......I'm sitting on my deck, Desperation Samba's playin', drinkin a margarita (frozen, salt). Just wanted to let you all know I'm thinkin bout all my fellow BNers!!

The only downside is, as I look at my legs, I realize how pale I am....oh well, take care of that tomorrow, supposed to be 68!

After winter, about 65 I wear shorts and a t-shirt. :D

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

At least 70 to lay in the sun, but after our winters here are over, I'm in t-shirt & shorts as soon as the temperature hits 45 degrees.

Anything above 65 is being outside in the sun weather...with plenty of sun screen. I don't lay out in the sun no matter what the tempature.

I just hate the idea of wrinkles.

shorts and hawaiian shirts are year-round here, I don't make any effort to get out in the sun til it is 80-85 degrees (Air and pool temperature).

I tan all year...I spend the frigid TN days in my tropical themed office. I refuse to give in to cold...I also do not leave the house if it's below 50 and I can possibly get out of it!

I don't lay in the sun anymore, I want to take care of my skin, and I don't have the time.

I always wear lots of sunscreen these days.

But I'll put on my shorts when the temp is about 70.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

I'm a sunscreen user BIG time. Have a friend who just had surgery for a basal cell carcinoma on her beautiful nose and cheek, and a sister-in-law with a squamous cell patch on her temple due for surgery next week.

I get some colour, but I sit in the shade completely unless I'm swimming. Always wear my Tilley hat. http://www.tilley.com/home.asp?countryCode=Can

That said, anything above 70 is summer wear weather! 8)

Lay out in the sun??? Are you crazy????

You will always find me where the nearest shade is located.

(I'm at an age where I can have my own personal summers with no sun needed) :-?
