Irvine Concert Goers - taxi, limos, general transportation ?

Post by DeltOU »

For those of you in the So Cal area, are any of you familiar with any good transportation services to get to and from the show?

I've looked at limos, but they are extremely pricey, and certainly don't make sense for tailgating. Taxis are unreliable, and everyone is trying to get taxis after the show.

I'll be coming from Newport beach. Any other folks coming from the Newport area? Interesting in going in together on a larger limo? We'll be going to the Thursday show, 4/20.

Thursday is tame compared to Saturday..take yer own car...walk motorhome alley..bbq some burgers out of the trunk of your car..enjoy!!!

If it were Saturday...I might pay the bucks for a limo...gonna be a long day

Thursday did sell out as well(maybe not in 2 minutes :x ) so I think the party will be nowhere near the 'tame' level. As for transportation, if you wanna have your own tailgate party, drive yourself. Otherwise, take a cab and crash someone else's......I'm sure you'll be welcome to!

:P

be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

I'm assuming we'll be in no shape to drive home after the show, so it's not an option to drive my own car...

I was looking into it a bit more today and I think we'll cab it to the tailgate around 4, but just get a limo for the ride home. It will be $75. Certainly more than a cab home, but at least we won't be searching and fighting for a cab back. I've got friends coming out from Ohio for the show, so we may as well class it up a bit right?

Saturday will be a bigger party, but I'm sure Thursday will be crazy too.

This will be my first time at Irvine. I'm assuming this "motorhome alley" is an easy spot to find in th lot....and pretty crazy?
