Hi Everyone! My Conversion Story

Post by MrTwain »

I'm brand new here... recently discovered Jimmy Buffett.

I'm 37 years old, from the Houston area.

At my brother's request I read Tales from Margaritaville and learned all the words to the songs on Barometer Soup. Then I went fishing in Galveston bay, caught a mess of trout and discovered my true self.

After years of rat racing and head spinning, I'm finally feeling my blood pressure lowering to a more normal level.

In fact, I just got tickets for myself and my 14 year old son. We're going to be there at Smirnoff Music Center.

I've never been to a JB concert...

Looking forward to it.

actually, it might not...

after this tailgate, anything else (including your average Sunday during football season in Green Bay, WI) will seem like the PTA getting together for their 'keets' Tuesday afternoon gradeschool football game... :D

So, Fins... Should my 14 year-old son cover his eyes at any point? Are these typically family-friendly tailgate parties?

But if you see a crowd of men(?) hootin' and hollerin', I'd steer clear of the area quickly. You can be sure something nasty is happening. 8)
