I read an article on CNN.com yesterday about he judge who has this case. She's generally known to be against the the death penalty from what I understood in the article.
She was also mildly criticized for doing less "ruling" and more "compromising" but I think at the same time, she wants to be thorough and diligent and make sure dumbass understands his rights.
I dunno.

Yea, this is an interesting topic for discussion.
We've had a "death penalty" debate on anothe forum I'm on.
The thread went on, and on.... and on....
I have to say let the B&*%#@ Rot.
He'll suffer a Hell on Earth and won't be a "Martyr" to his "peers".
He will face his final "judgement" in the end.

He's been convicted so as far as I'm concerned he has no rights. Rights come hand in hand with responsibilities. If he can't live by society's rules, he forfeits the rights the rest of us enjoy.buffettbride wrote:I read an article on CNN.com yesterday about he judge who has this case. It's on of those polarizing kinds of discussions most of the time....but I know from personal experience that the execution of a cretin like this one CAN help victim's families recover.....just knowing they are not breathing the same air, existing on the same planet....Dezdmona wrote:Yea, this is an interesting topic for discussion.

I am NOT familiar with all of the nuances of this case, just speaking in general.....but I still stand firmly by my opinion.

shame
Whatever is done with this clown he wins.
He already has. He's been basking in the limelight of the media mess for some time now.
I still must say no death penalty, let him rot. No point in giving him his martyr status that he wants oh so bad.
Isn't a shame that someone like him can kick back in a cell, probably get special attention for fear of those who may harm him on the "inside"?
Simply put, there needs to be a "place" for someone like him. I'm not saying torture, but a prison where he is not going to be able to incite someone with his sickening views. A place where the media is not allowed to come in and do a "follow up story" ten years from now.

An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.

She's 45, and has already driven away TWO husbands.
She needs some SERIOUS educating, and I think you're just the guy for the job.
