My parents were in the land of Creeky when I graduated. They told me we would go get me something when they return, that was 3 years ago and still nothing.

Hmmmm...high school was probably jewelry and money.

Bachelor's was a Mac Plus computer for grad school, and probably some money.

Master's was interesting. It was 10 months after my B.A. and even tho my bro is 3 1/2 years older than me, we received our Masters degrees within 2 days of each other, on opposite sides of the country. My ceremony was Saturday morning in Cali, he got his MBA from Wharton in Philly on Monday morning. My parents came to my ceremony, then we flew to Philly for his. A business friend of my Dad took us to a celebratory dinner at the Four Seasons. My folks then rented a limo and took us to NY for 5 days. Another business friend had a celebratory dinner for us at one of the best tables in the house at Windows On the World, atop the WTC. :( We spent some time in the city, then went up to West Point, and also visited some friends in NJ. It was quite the trip. I had to go to FAO Schwarz and dance on the piano keys like Tom Hanks in Big...even tho I had retorn the ligaments in both feet. :-? :(

Flew back home to Cali, had a couple of days to do laundry and repack, then flew to GA to spend a week with my boyfriend. Not so much fun on crutches. :-?
