One of my favorites...
You might be a redneck if you've ever been asked to leave a garage sale...

Sweeet!! Although Hubby and his junk are not easily parted.
Prolly don't have too much guy stuff this time 'round.
A half-working lawnmower. A leafblower (electric). Maybe one of our freezers.
Come to CO and buy my stuff!!!!!
Heck, you and wifey should be makin' babies any day now. I have everything you need to get started.

I LOVE garage sales
Even though some of you will remember when I broke my wrist at one shortly before we left for Ireland
I've had a few sales in my time too. One good thing is to stick the furniture items towards the road. It makes it look like you don't just have "small junk"
Around here the kids usually make money by selling bottled water from a cooler. (Never sure about the hygiene of lemonade stands, but everybody need to keep hydrated while out on a long day of yard sales.)
Have fun! And be ready early....people always show up before you are ready to open....

Good for her! I'm working another Photos with the Easter Bunny night for Heart Of Michigan Animal Rescue tomorrow night. I did one a week or so ago and it was a blast! It's great that she is already thinking about he homeless critters!

Never had a garage sale. When I have junk I want to get rid of, I throw it in the garbage.

The funniest "Candid Camera" I ever saw was where a lady went around setting up her garage sale stuff in the middle of other people's garage/yard sales. Someone would be having a yard sale, and she'd come in w/ a table and start setting up her own, asking them, "how much do you think I should charge for this?" etc. It was hilarious. People were getting seriously p*** at her! Okay, back to your garage sale discussion....

three words
OH HELL NO
did it once as a whole family thing, it was nice being around the family but all the work we did for it was a PITA. It was HOT (we were in Texas) and there wasn't enough beer or water to keep us cool that day. And of course my ex MIL that didn't drink would start giving you "the look" after 2-3 beers.
I'd rather donate to charity and save me the hassle.
