The Stauffer's of Kissel Hill on Rt 501 between Lititz and Lancaster has a great selection of poles from about 1" to 6" in diameter. They also have a variety of woven pannels.
If your going be sure to stop at the Wilbur Chocolate factory in Lititz. They are the best.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need more info.

It's not Eastern PA but if you are desperate and want to take a ride. I got my last bamboo from Bamboo and Rattan Work at
http://www.bambooandrattan.com/. They are located in Lakewood NJ which is about 30 minutes from PA down Rt 195 East towards the shore. The have everything from mats of thatching to 4-5" bamboo widths.

I measured the ones I have left in the garage, and they are a little over 2 1/2" in diameter. I got them at lowes last year. Damned sturdy ones.
