Because Mings and his new girlfriend, Creeky, will be there to celebrate her birthday and his new hair implants.

A couple of reasons in my case:
*At the time Dallas tickets went on sale, we were under the impression that there would be significantly fewer shows this year. I've been to Nissan (the place closest to my home) enough. I thought this would be a cool way to get my annual "walkabout" AND see Jimmy AND get my annual visit w/ ETP.
One thing has just led to another w/ this tailgate thing. I am still in AWE.

I opted for Dallas because I thought there would be no summer shows this year-or, more specifically, no Alpine or Chicago concerts. But, as is usually the case with Jimmy, things have a tendency to change. The VERY DAY I booked my non-refundable plane ticket to Dallas, the Alpine AND Chicago concert dates were announced.

(Remember what I do for a living-I DON'T make that kind of money).
Not that I'm not looking forward to Dallas-I AM. But I can't NOT go to Alpine because I get club tickets, and we charter a bus to take us all there. I have several friends in Chicago, which is also close, so I like going there too.
ANYWAY, 18 days, 132 bottles of Corona, 42 cheeseburgers, 11 porterhouse steaks, 33 margaritas, and 3 visits to Hooters Restaurants, and I'll be Dallas bound.

Merely a midnight snack, my friend, merely a midnight snack.
