That's what I was thinking when I picked boiled eggs...deviled eggs made with sweet hot mustard...
gotta love leftover easter eggs.

Ok I have to ask, who really eats their peeps. We all buy them. But who eats them????? Ours always end up turning hard, and the kids throw them at each other. ( that ends the fight real quick, let me tell you.)
I eat one every 4 or 5 years to remind myself that I really don't like them.
BUT IN OUR HOUSE CHOCLATE REIGNS SUPREME....

PEEPS....if they are properly aged....day old peeps are the best!
Robin Eggs are pretty close, though. I bought robin eggs this year and when I got them home they were solid chocolate....not a bad thing, but not what I had in mind, either!

We used to "paint" our lips with them-- lovely white, blue or pink lips...

They'd be my choice if I could still have sugar. Jelly Belly makes some pretty good s/f ones, but I have trouble stopping after a few. My bad.
