Nope.. from looking at the map, it's down Tropicana, and over a block or two? Kinda hard to tell.

Dean?? :) Can you help?

I'm amazed at these places. I stayed at the Mandalay Bay in October and had never been in a hotel anything like it. I'm sure this trend will continue until spending a Billion.5 is no longer profitable!!

It looks like it is more than half of the old pool area, so yes it is...

These are indeed in the old pool area and I don't think they've generated much talk because its nothing but additional rooms (kind of like when Mandalay Bay opened The Hotel). It features no new casino, arena, or large shopping center....many of its amenities will be shared with the MGM Grand. Here's a little more information on the property....

On another note, a new property did open up tonight off the stip. The Red Rock Station opened up and I had a chance to attend the media party before the public was allowed in. I skipped it though and found out about an hour ago that Sting was hired to perform at this event....damn.

I saw these things advertised in the Wall Street Journal. You can buy studio, one or two bedroom condos from 600k up to 2.5 mill :o . Two of the towers are already sold out and the third is 75% full. Not too bad!!
