A featured album per show this year...

I think this is wonderful. And I can't think of any album I wouldn't want to hear covered. Except SYKBH, which he covers every year.

The songs played during intermission, I'm assuming they were pre-recorded? If so, he only played 22 songs last night. That's kinda disappointing.

i love the idea of a featured album per night but do agree with what others are saying.it would be cool if he picked like 5 featured albums and just did them for this years tour.

these were all played live following the intermission:

Feature Album: Fruitcakes
14 Uncle Johns Band
15 Delaney Talks to Statues
16 She's Got You
17 Everybody's Got A Cousin In Miami

A recorded "Fruitcakes" (with video, I'm assuming) ended intermission, then the four cuts from the album followed live.

I dont think they were prerecorded.... because before he played Delaney talks to Statues... he was talking live about it.... I guess we need to hear from someone who was there.

As you noted, "Salty Piece of Land" was never an album. In addition to being a song it was the name of a tour and a book though.

yeah I kindof thought of it as we were all lottery winners at this point but we just don't know what the prize is until we redeem our tickets
