Was out there for work and Monday night at dinner at Tandrels (sp?), he was at table next to me. I went to him upon leaving and he being done with dinner and told him I was a big fan and that I saw him at the Fillmore and four other times last year. He asked if I was oing to PHX the next night but I did not have tix. He said the policy recently changed and he couldnt leave my name, but was very nice and I did not expect it. He could have been bsing me but who knows, was a good guy.

. .what a great story, TCC. . ! !

. . thanks for sharing . . . and, it has been brought up around here that band members are now only allowed to " comp " family . .

. .so, I truly think if he could have, he would have offered you tickets. . .! !

. .cause he is that kind of nice guy. . ! !

. .again, congrats on your good luck, and thanks for sharing . . ! !

:D

I met Peter Mayer at the HOB Cambridge MA where they were playing inbetween GW shows a few years ago. He was very nice and down to earth. I also got a hug from both him and Mac. Definitely a highlight I will always remember.

I met Peter Mayer, Mr. Utley, and the rest of the Coral Reefer Band at a jazz festival in Pennsylvania several years ago--all very friendly, posed for pictures with my son, and made nice memories for our family. (Met Nadira too, when I was walking alone back to our hotel room, much to my husband's chagrin!)

I had the pleasure of dining with Peter and his band when the PMG was playing locally. After his show, we had drinks with him. What a treat! He's such a great, kind, warm guy. If I can find that photo, I know it's in here somewhere...

Peter is a great guy
we've had the pleasure of talking with him on a few occasions and he even remembered us the last time. :D He was also gracious enough to play a few verses of Blue Guitar on my 9 year old son's guitar before he signed it - we have some great video of that 8)

He and Uncle Jim are just the best!

All the Coral Reefers that I've met are really nice, and Peter is no exception. But Heather is still my favorite.
