Don't have 'em here in CO, but if I did I'd flush 'em or put 'em down the garbarge disposal. :)

I had a few of these in my hair as a kid from playing in the woods all of the time.
Even had one imbedded in my left breast and mom had to dig it out.
Still got the little scar though it's nothing like a third nipple
If I recall correctly she flushed 'em.

I've done that too..but I've also flushed them...

we had plenty of them in OK...and seems they have their share here in Southeasa Georgia also..

that's what you can expect when you live close to the woods...

OMFG
You pholks are the funniest!

Of course I’m talking about live ticks (not Live -- Tix)
And if they don’t frequent your particular part of the globe then…
…well, … congratulations (why do they call it Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever anyway…)

We got ticks around here. And this time of year they’re plentiful.
Even the dog (treated with TopSpot or whatever) will bring them into the house.
They don’t stay on him for long, but when they come off I find them.

I had one on me when I came back from the fishing pond.

Flushed it.

Screw the CDC.

That tick might be Johnny Fookin Weissmuller, but he ain’t comin back to this house.

I prefer to burn them. Then there is no question as to whether they are dead. I once had one make it through the washing machine so I am not convinced that flushing is all that effective.

On a side note isn't it kind of sick when you get a "full" tick and you burn it and it kind of POPs. Nasty!

I was just thinking of the "Pop" when I wa sreading your post. We burn them once we get them off of our dogs.
