Looks like the board won't be too active until later on tonight.

I still don't know what the O.A.R. is in the OAR House but I do know it's a ficticious bar that is usually opened up by the Balcony Girls or anyone else in the afternoon.
I sit back an close my eyes, type in my drink order and BG comes back with a, "Here you go.......**plop**"

It's ok, I'm just thinking out loud and talking (or typing) to myself. I can entertain myself!!! Only something to think about. All the concerts I've gone to, no matter how early we got to the parking lot, time has always flown by. Didn't seem to be enough time to do everything I wanted to, but then again the drinking mighta help that along! I know we'll have a great time, no matter what we do! I've seen pics and I can't remember on what website, where people have had everything from ice luges (sp?) to ummmm how do I say this, personal massagers races. Also a chest measuring poster board. Those things looked really interesting but maybe just a little over the top! Maybe I need to turn the creative juices off if this is all I can think of!

That's funny Deb.

Like you said, no matter what we do it WILL BE A GREAT TIME.

The biggest thing I want to do is meet everyone from this thread and enjoy the show, because Lord only knows when the train will stop.

Just got off the phone with the docs who decided to start phase two a littl early. Mrs got started about 12:00 with the second round of Campath.
Good thing!!!!
This really increases her chances of getting home early tomorrow!!!!!

All right ladies, help me out here.

Because my wife is what's called neutropenic right now she can't have any fresh fruits, salads, be around flowers etc. (This is killing her!!!!)
I've come up with an idea for the girls gift to mom for mothers day.

I went to Lowes and picked up three small ceramic plain pots, some acryllic paint and brushes and was thinking of letting them design their own pots for mom. Something they could use to plant a flower or whatever when she's up to it.

Good idea?

That's a GREAT idea. I'm sure she will love it. After the paint has dried, be sure to spray the pots with a clear acyrlic spray (you can get it at Wal-mart or any craft store). That helps keep the paint from smearing etc. when you water the paint. Have fun with your project!!!

Great idea. If you get a chance find a Micheal's craft store....they have some nice 'sponge' stamps for just this sort of thing, and they are just cents, that they girls could use.

Make sure the paint will stick to the pots you've choosen before the girls go to all that work...plain terra cotta pots often work better then ceramic...and make sure you buy some spray sealer to keep the artwork looking good since you plan on using them.

I think Maria will love this. It's a promise towards the future.

Coco-great idea about the pots for Mom's day. As a mom, I have always cherished anything my girls made me. I still have a pencil holder on my desk that my youngest who is now 21 made in elementary school.

The plants your girls plant can be enjoyed for a long time and the pots forever!!

Not sure if she would be up to it, but you could arrange to have her a pedicure...... Every Women that I know loves to have their feet massaged and neatly manicured. This is something that most Women won't just go out and buy.

I think the flower/Plant pot is an excellent idea.

Ok-ncdeb-it's up to you to give us a report on the parking lot scene.

Have a good time at the concert tonight. I LOVE Trace Adkins. And no, Idon't like Tony Stewart

RRLady- ohhh -pedicure sounds good. I love to have my feet and head massaged (not necessarily at the same time)

Thank goodness we have that in common........ and this whole Buffett thing, right!!! Someone else posted an aerial view of the amphitheatre on another thread (wow it is really hard to think of words when you've had no sleep). I've been there before but I'm just not sure where the premier parking area is. I plan on finding out tonight. I'll also talk to some of the parking lot attendants about things. I'm not above a little flirting to find out things, I guess that would only work if it's guys working though. I'll find out if they will be there for THE CONCERT to.

Tonight is Brooks and Dunn and Sugarland. I've seen the guys but I've never seen Sugarland. Gretchen and Trace are 5/26.

The mega ticket was a really good deal. For about $150 you got tickets to 5 different concerts, those I've already mentioned and Brad Paisley/ Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney/ Dierks Bentley, Raschal Flatts/ Gary Allen, Toby Keith/ Joe Nichols. Wait a minute, that's 6 concerts. I'm about to be stoopid without sleep. But any way, it's a good deal and I already have all the tickets so if any of them would happen to sell out, like Kenny Chesney or Toby Keith, I've already got my tickets. They're just lawn seats but that's ok with me. I love Toby and he puts on a great concert but I've never seen Kenny and all you Kenny Chesney haters, just let me alone. I like him and I can't wait.
