The blackened grouper is excellent... and it is a short drive for me...
I think I'm way overdue for a trip over there.

I go there pretty often, at least a few times a month. After a surf session I enjoy some oysters and a beer. It is also a fun place to stop for lunch when fishing the M. Lagoon. It is a well traveled lunch spot for all skinny water fishermen on the east coast.
I even took my fiance there for lunch after I proposed last year. We love it!

Love JB's...been there a few times when we vacation at New Smyrna. Got to feed 3 manatees that were hanging out by the docks one time while waiting for a table.
I've had good days and bad days and going half mad days!

We were down there this past weekend and some locals told me the management had changed and the food had taken a big dip in quality.
So we didn't go . Ihope this is a temporary setback because that place was nails before.

JB is the owner....kind of a 60/70's throwback...was just there last month - one of my favorite places...oysters were good...beer was cold...sit right on the water....
Still a fun place consider it a East Coast must for Buffett fans...
