I think that about hits the nail on the head. I think there are a lot of things on that list that are questionable at best, and downright wrong and insane at worst. The author is a real numbnuts if they were being serious when they wrote that crap.scubamyk wrote:I'm really p*** that I didn't get a job at Rolling Stone and now I have to write for AOL.

Perhaps it should have been written something like this:
I can't get over the fact that people listen to music that I don't like.
Fans don't know how to just sit quietly at a concert and enjoy the music.
Some musicians quit the bands that made them famous. What a shame.
I hate it when performers change the syllables of a word to make it fit in the song.
Why do musicians feel they need to tell us how they feel?
Why do musicians do things that I would never do.
I'm really p*** that I didn't get a job at Rolling Stone and now I have to write for AOL.

Thank you for the clarification.pbans wrote:It was actually an article from "Blender" magazine, which was posted on AOL....different, but equally as lame.
It's a fairly new rag brought to us by that respected publisher of Maxim and FHM magazines....scubamyk wrote:Thank you for the clarification.pbans wrote:It was actually an article from "Blender" magazine, which was posted on AOL....different, but equally as lame.
What is "Blender"?
One of those knew-it-before-you-did-and-now-it-is-worthless type of mags trying to make a name?
It's a wannabee Rolling Stone magazine.....caters to the gen-x, emo, quasi-punk, pop whatever generation.scubamyk wrote:Thank you for the clarification.pbans wrote:It was actually an article from "Blender" magazine, which was posted on AOL....different, but equally as lame.

Margaritaville was my first song ever that I Karaoked. But nowadays I stick to other songs... occasionally I'll try a Buffett song.jonesbeach10 wrote:Who would do Margaritaville for Karaoke? If anything, we'd avoid it because we've heard it so many times.
