I saw Nickel Creek for the first time last night.
I have several of their CD's, but had never seen them live.
I also got to see a band called The Ditty Bops, who i understand have been touring with Nickel Creek.
Even if you are not a "New Grass" fan I beleive you will still enjoy the artistry that is present.
The performances were,.....well.......just GREAT!
After the show I managed to get all 3 members plus their bass players
autograph.
I also got to ask Chris Thiele a question that had bothered me so.
I asked him if he "preferred a Cheesy western or a bowl with?"
He assured me that he was really into a "bowl with" but that was in the evening. For lunch it had to be The Roanoke Wiener Stand.
The young man has exquisite taste!

This is really an awesomely talented band.
Very underappreciated IMHO.
Humble and kick ass at the same time.
I just don't know another way to say it.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.
