Also, why do you think he stopped playing songs off the new album?

It's a contest, you have to guess which album was featured and submit it. If you're right, you win an autographed guitar.

Nah, I just made that up. :pirate:

Here We Are was back last night. I think the rain-shortened second set at Irvine may have been why the new songs weren't heard there.

Okay, maybe I need to qualify that just a *little*..... :o

Although JB and the CRB doing YMCA would be funny as hell!

I know Bubba has a short attention span, but c'mon. The album idea lasted like what? Two shows. I thought it was a great idea and would love to see it continue. I guess he would rather be fishing, surfing, etc. on his off days as opposed to rehearsing different songs...

If he keeps doing shows, and broadcasting them live and free on RM, I will be very happy! :D

I certainly agree that it's great to have shows to go to, but if the "featured album each show" gig is over, that's a shame and a pretty big miss. He didn't have to say anything before the first show but Jimmy chose to create the expectation. It may not have to happen every show, but right now he's batting 50% (after having stated he had more albums to do than shows). Today it also leaves an impression that Jimmy doesn't care to run full throttle unless Jake is there to push him.

It's Jimmy's perogative of course, but he's looking rather sloppy on this one right now. :-?

To be fair, I suppose it's entirely possible there's something going on that we don't know about..... Something that's keeping the featured album from happening.... Sh*t does happen, from time to time.....

If there is no featured album, then there is no reason for me to go.

No question, as always, all kinds of stuff could be happening behind the scenes...that's all part of the world of live performance. My point is Jimmy's the one that created this expectation...no one else put this on him. At least he's been able to enjoy the California surfing, wine country, nice SF restaurants, etc. though.
