I think there were subway directions in the pre-party at Mo's thread if you read through the whole thing. I'll need to write them down myself. Although I am not a huge fan of the subway.puckhead wrote:So I just picked up 2 tickets in section 404 (just how high will I be?) I've never been to MSG so I'm not sure if it is really bad to be high, or will be okay?
Also, were is this Mo's place? I"ll be taking a train into Penn Station... how do I get there from there?

"While the rest of the species is descended from apes, redheads are descended from cats." Mark TwainThat sounds confusing (two trains)?? I'm a Philly boy and the the subway only runs down Broad (unless you need to take the Market-L)... Is everything clearly marked?LIPH wrote:Take the uptown E train from Penn Station to 51st St. (I think it's 5 stops), switch to the 6 train and take it to 77th St. The station is at 77th St. & Lexington Ave., Mo's is 76th St. & 2nd Ave.
How much for a cab from Penn Station to Mo's?

The signs in the subway are pretty good, you shouldn't have a problem. The signs will say uptown or downtown, not north or south. You want to go uptown.puckhead wrote:That sounds confusing (two trains)?? I'm a Philly boy and the the subway only runs down Broad (unless you need to take the Market-L)... How much for a cab from Penn Station to Mo's?
Cabs are $2.50 when they drop the meter then $0.40 for each 1/5 mile ($2.00/mile). Mo's is probably 3 miles +/- from Penn Station so you're looking at $8.50, minimum, for a cab. The subway is $2.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here
Great... and if we drink too much at Mo's I assume that eveyone else is taking the subway back so we won't get lost?LIPH wrote:The signs in the subway are pretty good, you shouldn't have a problem. You'll have to tell us more about the San Gennarno fest, and maybe I will stay in NY for a bit longer to check it out! (currently planning baseball Tuesday, Broadway Wednesday, Buffett Thursday.)
