Well thanks everyone for your good thoughts. Yesterday when I woke up I noticed that the right side of my face wasn't moving - couldn't close my eye and my tongue was numb and my mouth wasn't moving on that side either. Went to the ER yesterday and they have diagnosed me with Bell's Palsy. They took blood to see if I have Lyme's so I am waiting for those results. I also have a right ear infection and they said sometimes it presses on the facial nerve and causes this. I am on antibiotics anyway for my throat so they said it would take care of the ear too. Needless to say I am not going. Not feeling or looking my best. Hubby asked our neighbor and it looks like he will go with him. I am just relieved that it wasn't anything worse than this and hopefully it will clear up soon.

Jane - look forward to seeing you again soon too! John was at CIP Sunday but we couldn't make it. Did you go?

Unfortunately I have personal experience with both Lyme and Bell's. You know how to get me if you want to chat...

So sorry to hear you're not going...it is just cosmetic, but I understand how you feel.

BUT, you can't just hide in the house for the next month or so either

i just got a good look at my seats.. ... but it's better than staying home..

Cant go thursday now-just lost my starting quarterback and tailback for our opening game Fiday night-and wednesday and thursday will be marathon practices and i still will the train to Penn Station
