I couldn't agree more, Pam. IMHO, no one who is left comes close to Chris's talent. Heck yeah, they all can sing, but NOT in the same calibur that Chris does.

I never was really impressed with Bo Bice. He always appeared rehearsed to me, not natural. And, he definitely did not have Chris' "HOT" factor. I'll but Chris' album when it comes out.

I don't know. I really don't care. While I think the 3 that are left are nice people and I have no ill will towards them, I don't think they have the talent that Chris has.

Me either. I will not be able to handle seeing Taylor win. He's sweet and he's entertaining, but he is nothing more than a novelty.

If Kathryn could humble herself, I would like her more and she could be a star, but she just doesn't have enough charm and charisma to connect with a wide audience... she's no Kelly Clarkson.

And Elliot... oh, sweetheart Elliot. He's such a doll and I love his sweet little grin, but he's no superstar. He's the underdog that's making the competition interesting, but he's not worthy of winning it all.

I voted about 40 times via text for Elliot. I thought it was entirely out of the realm of possibility that Chris would not receive enough votes. He's brilliant!

Although, I did wish he would have been a bit bolder during 'A Little Less Conversation'... but his mediocre is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than everybody else's best effort.

As a Chris follower I was blown away when Ryan sent him home tonight, but career-wise it may be the best thing for him. While I admit I only briefly watched some shows last year, Bo seemed like a "decent" southern rocker type. Have you heard what Clive Davis has done to that kid's sound? I wouldn't buy that CD if someone's life depended on it. Hopefully Chris has enough business sense to stay clear of Clive and his slimy paws.

One bad thing is AI rules say he can't release a cd until at least 4 months after the winner releases theirs

I bought the Bo Bice CD for my daughter last year......it sucks....

I missed the results show last night but I'm sad to see Chris go. I'm a Taylor fan myself. I like his personality and I like his sound...it's unique.

Katherine...I'm not a big fan of.

Elliott, he has a great voice and a great story and personality as well.

i agree...its better for his career...i wouldnt want to be a rock star known for winning american idol....i dont think that would work well for him....hes definitely brilliant....

id like to see taylor win...i try to vote every week but never get thru...

First off... I love AI.

Fox may have to retool after this debacle. Chris was clearly the most talented and industry-ready performer in the group. What was shaping up as a really good final has collapsed into a contest between lesser talents. I predict lower ratings next week.

The voting should be changed to who should go home rather than who stays.

Elliot or Taylor may wind up the ultimate "winner" but they'll never sell as many records as Chris will. The sad part is Chris has to spend a few months touring as part of the AI tour. The tour kicks off here in Manchester, NH and I predict Chris will get the biggest crowd reaction.

Did anyone go see the AI tour last year? We went the previous year and it was awful. There were no video screens so you couldn't see them unless you were up close. Did they use video last year?
